Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the public Pingle website and API documentation process, why it is processed, who receives it, how long it is retained, and what choices visitors have.

Who controls this policy

Pingle Software operates the public website at pingle.one and the public API documentation at api.pingle.one.

Data we process

Website pages are designed to work without account registration, analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or marketing trackers.

The language preference cookie stores only the selected interface locale. It is used to route visitors to the selected language version of the static site.

Payment providers, app stores, support channels, and dashboard services may process data when you choose to use those separate services. Their own notices apply to those surfaces.

Purposes and lawful basis

Strictly necessary technical processing supports delivery, security, troubleshooting, and localisation of the website.

Where GDPR applies, the lawful basis is legitimate interests for site security and service operation, contract where processing is necessary to provide a requested paid service, and consent where a future non-essential cookie or tracker is introduced.

Cookies and local storage

The public website uses a preferred_lang cookie when a visitor explicitly chooses a language. It is a functional preference cookie, not an analytics or advertising cookie.

Theme preference may be stored locally in the browser so the interface can keep the selected light or dark mode.

Non-essential cookies, analytics, advertising tags, and similar storage must not be loaded before opt-in consent.

Recipients and processors

Hosting, delivery, payment, app distribution, and support providers may receive only the data needed for their role.

Card data is handled by payment providers and is not stored by the public website. Cryptocurrency payment confirmation is handled by the payment provider used for that transaction.

Retention

Functional browser preferences remain until the visitor clears them or changes the preference.

Technical logs are minimized and rotated. The service aims not to retain traffic history, session logs, or personal browsing activity.

Payment, legal, abuse-prevention, and support records are retained only as long as required for the relevant transaction, legal obligation, dispute, or security purpose.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to processing of your personal data.

You may also lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. Contact [email protected] to exercise rights related to the public website.

Changes

This policy is reviewed when the website, public API documentation, providers, or data practices change.
